Apple launched two new iPhone television ads today which seem to target the "how to" questions for new purchasers. The new ads feature the Facebook web app and using Safari to browse the web (researching car info as the example). Lee and I both use the Facebook app quite, and I believe we're close to seeing many quality apps like this developed using the SDK by third-parties very soon. It's interesting that Apple has switched from the ads about individuals (pilots, musicians, artists, etc.) to these that are more of an informational style. The Cars ad does a decent job of showing the web browsing functionality in Safari, with drop-down menus and the things we take for granted on the computers.
