Leopard awaits you
Image For those of you who haven't been alert recently, this is a friendly reminder that Apple's new OS (10.5 aka Leopard) is due out this Friday in stores and online. We've just received the word that the first 500 guests (per store) at the launch this Friday evening will receive free t-shirts, a nice bonus! On a more obvious note, there will be live demos and seats available for test driving the new operating system. A few of the most anticipated features include the new file stacking via the dock, the ability to view files in Cover Flow via the new Finder, browse, play, view and page through files without opening them, daily system restore via Time Machine, new iChat real-time video effects, and custom workspaces via Spaces. Doors are open for the launch event this Friday, October 26th, from 6-10 pm Learn more here !

Hasta La Vista Mom and Dad
ImageGovernor Schwarzeneggar of California has passed a bill that has banned the use of the terms "Mom and Dad" and "Husband and Wife" from the public schools in their state. He has also authorized boys and girls to use bathrooms of the opposite sex, in an effort to please those who consider themselves homosexual. Please read more from WorldNetDaily here . We'd love to hear from the parents of children that are in these schools. If you have friends or family in this situation feel free to request that they leave feedback here or contact us directly. And it seems odd that the state is literally up in flames? Keep playing games if you feel like it.

Aaron Conrad, from AC180.com joins us (interview starts at 18:44) and shares how he and friends are reaching the world for Christ through the use of blog networking. It's a unique twist on the world of blogging for sure. Some people don't blog because they believe there's not much they have to say that the world wants to hear. After this interview, we're sure your mind will be changed, if you are one of those people. Gabe has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the AC180 team, and it appears that Aaron might have turned Lee onto something!

We also bring you news about the Apple vs. Amazon mp3 store battle, the new AOL on the MAC, and the future 3G network that AT&T will be bringing to the iPhone. All of these links are listed in the episode links for this week as well.

Gabe and Lee close things out this week with a review on AC180 and how blogging in community might actually turn new people onto this technology. We also discuss more details on the intersection of the Christian faith with the world of blogging.
