Huh  Well, I am new to using forums and still learning how to use my computer along with the Internet.     I have a vague idea of what I am doing.
Can any one give me a crash coarse on how this works?   This is a great place to share ideas and other thoughts.

Mike,

Thanks again for signing up for the forum. We've just started the forum this week, so you're getting in while we're all getting a little familiar with the site as well. Once you are a member you can move between the different boards (General / Podcast / Tech / Faith) and read, post a new topic or reply to the ones you'd like inside of each. We'll moderate the forum as much as we can and maybe even move threads to a certain topic if they don't belong where they are placed now.

The Introductions section that you have posted in here is an excellent starting point for you to introduce yourself and ask questions. We've started posting the Mac tip of the week and the prayer requests from the episodes in their respective boards (Tips and Tricks / Prayer). Hopefully we'll communicate between the actual show and the forum now a bit more. Hope this somehow helps you a bit, but definitely feel free to reply with further ideas or questions! Welcome to the community!

Hi all,

I have a 15" Macbook Pro w/ Parallels and Vista. I use a Sprint Evdo wireless card for broadband (had to get Windows and use Bootcamp to activate the card) and I can take this anywhere. I used it on my trip moving from Charlotte, NC to Colorado Springs, CO. I only had one place on my trip across country that I couldn't get a good connection at that was in a very out of the way place that my cousin lives in Missouri. I am a student and will be using it in class. The only thing I'd like to have is a bible program like I use in Vista, E-sword. I have Macsword, but it doesn't have all the nice features I have come to love in E-sword.

Thanks for this site! It is a really cool to have a place to share both God and Macs!  Cool

Blessings,
Gene
